Ondo Finance RWA Growth — From $400M to $4.2B in a Year

Ondo Finance’s tokenized-Treasury TVL crossed $4.2B this month — a 10x year-over-year growth that reframes the RWA category as a real DeFi vertical.

The growth comes primarily from BlackRock’s BUIDL fund (which Ondo’s USDY product co-routes against), institutional treasury allocations from corporate clients, and a meaningful uptick in DAO treasury usage of OUSG (Ondo’s tokenized short-term Treasury product) as a yield-bearing dollar substitute.

For the wider DeFi market, Ondo’s growth meaningfully validates the RWA-as-collateral thesis. AAVE, Pendle, and Sky are all integrating Ondo products as collateral types, which compounds the demand: more usage as collateral drives more deposit demand, drives more TVL.
